Anthemis & Legitech hosts 150+ trainings on Boothted

Hosting multiple virtual training sessions per week, plus the occasional hybrid event, is a challenge for any team. This is exactly the challenge that Anthemis and Legitech, publishers of legal publications from Belgium and Luxembourg, have taken up with the help of Boothted.
Conveying complex knowledge to a highly qualified audience is the domain of training. Whereas not so long ago training was conducted purely as face-to-face events, today online training clearly dominates. Anthemis and Legitech are no exception in this respect. A large part of the training is conducted completely virtually on Boothted. In addition, there are hybrid events, some of which have the format of hybrid training, i.e. training that is conducted both in front of a live audience and online participants.
Why Boothted
Anthemis and Legitech had already conducted virtual training in previous years, but almost without exception on Zoom. As demands grew, it was clear that Zoom would not be a long-term solution. Through several events Legitech had held with ATOZ Luxembourg, Boothted was already known and was shortlisted by Anthemis and Legitech. After intensive tests and evaluations, Anthemis and Legitech finally decided to fully rely on Boothted for the upcoming 150+ trainings and hybrid events.
The decisive factor for the decision was on the one hand that Boothted could almost completely fulfill the specifications, but at the same time it is a very easy to use, web-based platform that integrates the branding of Anthemis and Legitech very well. Although Anthemis runs the training and hybrid events completely autonomously, the support offered by Boothted was also crucial. A dedicated contact person and prompt response to customer questions are as much a matter of course for Boothted as intensive training for the Antehmis staff involved. Before the start of the new training season in September 2022, Anthemis employees were trained on the basis of demo events to be able to administer Boothted independently. During a first phase with real training sessions, the Boothted team was also present in the background to help if necessary and to optimize the way of working.
No event is too small to be big
For Antehmis it was important from the beginning to be able to produce professional and visually convincing trainings despite the manageable number of participants (typically 50-70 participants). In line with Boothted's motto that no event is too small to be big, Boothted offers features and presentation quality especially for small to medium sized trainings, webinars and hybrid events that one would otherwise rather expect from complicated and significantly more expensive event platforms.
Boothted: the big platform for small events
Starting with a flexible agenda of the event, complete speaker profiles, and various interaction options like Q&A's and chat, Boothted offers the possibility to visually stage the live stream. Logos and backgrounds as well as flexible overlays are the necessary tools to present attendees with a visually pleasing environment that makes it easy to focus on the content being conveyed. For Anthemis and Legitech, this alone made a huge difference compared to Zoom, which offers virtually no visual design options. The availability of the presentations directly within Boothted is very convenient for Anthemis as it avoids the need to send the documentation to the participants by email.
Hybrid without much effort

Especially for hybrid events Boothted is the first choice. No complex camera technology is needed, a good USB webcam and a microphone set like the Røde Wireless Go II to be connected via USB are already sufficient to host a hybrid event. This is exactly the equipment that was used at Anthemi's first hybrid event. Anthemis particularly appreciated the presentation sharing feature.
The presentation is uploaded to Boothted as a PDF and activated there as needed. The speakers have the possibility to control their presentation on a presentation laptop as usual. Only the corresponding website has to be called up in the browser in order to display the presentation. As usual, this laptop is also connected to a video projector to show the presentation to the participants present. Clicking through the presentation automatically updates the presentation in the live stream without having to pull additional cables.
Registration and Replay
Initially, Antehmis had planned to register participants on their own website, but Boothted's built-in registration solution turned out to be the ideal solution, so that Anthemis finally decided not to take any detours but to rely completely on Boothted for participant registration as well. The link to the booth is sent by email by Anthemis and Legitech to the participants. They then have to fill in their contact information (name, first name, email) in order to receive a personalized link to participate in the webinar.
Typically, participants ask many questions via the built-in Q&A function. Being able to fade the questions into the stream immediately is an advantage, especially for Anthemis and Legitech, since the questions are often complex.
Equally important for registered participants is the replay function, which not only allows you to play back the recorded video, but also to download existing documents or view the questions asked. It makes sense that the replay jumps immediately to the corresponding place in the video as soon as you click on a question.
By using Boothted, Anthemis and Legitech can offer participants a professional presentation without having to use more resources at the same time. The ability to duplicate existing trainings reduces the time needed to set up a new training to just a few minutes.
