How I dramatically increased our score
I was honestly a bit in shock when I discovered that my email rating was only 4.5/10. No wonder that my emails often ended up nowhere. The main reason was pretty simple: the SPF record was not correctly configured so that our email provider was labeled as being unauthorized. Of course that was leading to a catastrophic email rating and no wonder that I didn’t get nowhere with my mailings.
Another problem was that a DMARC record was missing in our DNS configuration. Once that and the SPF was solved, our rating had already dramatically increased. Finally I solved a few HTML glitches in our signature and ended up with 9/10 which is a very good score.
